Arty residences to open in Hong Kong
[Travel Weekly Asia] Fancy a stylish serviced apartment with a view of Victoria Harbour and the famed Hong Kong Island skyline?
K11 ARTUS will be the name of the luxury serviced apartment residences launched by New World Development as part of the three million-square-foot Victoria Dockside art and design district on the edge of Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront.
The residences, opening summer 2019, will focus on the K11 brand pillars of Art, People and Nature, while the entire US$2.6 billion development will also include the K11 Atelier office tower and K11 MUSEA, an upscale and experiential retail, art, cultural and dining destination.
Architectural studio Kohn Pedersen Fox from New York designed the building, while P Landscape out of Bangkok created landscaping, and Hong Kong designer Andre Fu devised the interiors.
The 287 residences over 14 storeys will feature the look and feel of a contemporary artist’s residence with vintage, handcrafted and quirky details.
“ARTUS marks a major milestone for the K11 brand with our expansion into the hospitality sector,” said Adrian Cheng, K11 founder, executive vice-chairman of New World Development.
